Special session "Thermal/infrared technologies, fluid flow and heat transfer processes"

Session description

Understanding fluid dynamics and heat transfer has been one of the most fascinating problems challenged by specialists. Measurement techniques for heat transfer processes involving liquids/gases, including infrared thermography or fiber-optic sensors, can be helpful to predicting/controlling/validating them. The proposed session would be a fair opportunity to promote interesting exchanges among research scientists as well as industrial users. More specifically, it is aimed to:

  •  bring together people dedicated to theories, experiments, simulations and applied aspects on fluid flow and heat transfer processes as well as to the employment of thermal/infrared equipments;
  • disseminate and exchange fundamentals and applied research on heat transfer and fluid flow processes as well as measurement techniques. The following list of topics illustrates the scope of the session.
